The snow depth map is intended to give a momentary overview of the observed snow depth in Sweden. This page shows snow depth maps from the 2009-2010 season onwards.
About the snow depth map
The analysis is automatically performed around 10 am Swedish standard time. The analysis is based on the snow depth observations that are done at 7 am Swedish standard time. The snow depth can vary greatly even within small areas. Because of the large distances between the observation stations the uncertainties in the estimated snow depth are also quite large.
